Farmer

Kabanda

Sometimes you need to cross the border to find improved varieties of maize. We got an opportunity to attend an exposure visit organized by Triple C project in 2022 and I bought 5kgs of Lubango and DK maize. These two varieties are commonly grown by Tanzanian farmers. I planted these seeds on one acre of land and tripled my harvest. Thank you Caritas MADDO for the exposure visit

Parent

Nakirijja Josephine

Our community had a big water challenge, kids had to travel long distances to fetch unclean water for home use. St Paul Buna primary school, had a water source though damaged that it could not serve the school and the community before Caritas MADDO upgraded it with a more automated solar sophisticated technology. Gratitude goes to Caritas MADDO

Parent

Maama Pius

I frizzed when the Doctor told me that my boy (Pius) had a heart problem, and the operation is worthy 20 million. It was a testing moment until hope was availed when I was linked to the welfare project coordinator Immy. The project raised the big sum and my child was operated. Currently my boy goes to school. Thank you Caritas MADDO Projekthilfe, thank you Maama Christel and the team my child leaves because of your support..

Former Student

Najjingo Rukia

"I once lacked reading and writing skills". She joined St. Ann Vocational School and, fortunately, proved to be a fast learner. She received training in knitting and sewing, and after completing the two-year course, Rukia established a workshop in Kampala a city of Uganda. Today, she provides services and products to both organizations and individuals. Her success has significantly improved her family's livelihood. Special thanks go to Caritas MADDO and St. Ann vocational school staff for their support..
