General Objective
Rapid distribution of climate friendly efficient cooking stoves within the Diocese of Masaka for households and institutions to improve the cooking and health conditions of the local population and reduce or replace the consumption of non-renewable firewood. The general objective is aligned with the Caritas MADDO Strategic Plan and contributes to SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-Being”, SDG 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy” as well as to SDG 13 “Climate Action”.
Project Objective
Implementation of a certified carbon finance project based on the distribution of cookstoves and other products in the Masaka Diocese, Uganda.
