Caritas MADDO had a gender transformation bench mark. The representative team of the different pillars of Caritas MADDO traveled from Masaka to Jinjja to bench mark on Gender transformation with Care Uganda. https://www.careuganda.org/ https://www.careuganda.org/https://www.careuganda.org/
The team gained a lot basing on the real examples of gender transformation among the youths, human resource and gender with small credit and saving groups.

Gender-Responsive Credit and Savings Groups
Financial inclusion is a powerful tool for empowerment. Credit and savings groups should adopt gender-sensitive approaches that recognize the unique challenges faced by young women, men, and gender-diverse individuals. Tailored financial literacy programs and equitable access to loans can help bridge the gap.
Youth Leadership and Participation
Encouraging youth to take leadership roles within these groups fosters confidence and ensures that gender transformation is driven by those it affects most. Representation matters—diverse voices lead to more innovative and sustainable solutions. Here boys and men where chosen and fully transformed to better people and leaders through gender tools, their bad behaviors had totally changed and a lot is yet to be seen
Community Engagement and Awareness
Transforming gender norms requires collective effort. Community dialogues, mentorship programs, and awareness campaigns can challenge stereotypes and promote respect and equality.
